Equipment You Can Take Into the Field
Not every project happens in a studio.
BevCam members can borrow production equipment to record in the community, at events, or on location. Access to cameras and audio gear allows members to produce work independently while still sharing it through BevCam’s distribution platforms.
Equipment access is one of the core benefits of membership.
What Equipment Is Available
How the Checkout Process Works
Members must complete the New Member Orientation before reserving equipment. Orientation is typically held once a month at BevCam Downtown.
After orientation, members can contact either the Downtown location or the Beverly High School location to discuss equipment needs.
When picking up gear, members sign a checkout form that lists all items being borrowed and confirms a return date and time.
Time Limits and Responsibilities
Checkout periods are limited. Equipment reservations follow BevCam’s broader policies regarding remote equipment use.
Members are responsible for returning equipment on time and in good condition. Additional training may be required depending on the type of gear requested.
Staff review equipment needs with each member to ensure the right tools are used for the project.
How Members Use Borrowed Equipment
Members use borrowed equipment for a wide range of community projects.
Equipment can be used for sporting events, on-location program creation, documenting community gatherings - really anything you can think of that can go on video.
Equipment access allows members to produce content beyond the studio walls while keeping projects connected to Beverly.
